TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please note that unless otherwise agreed in writing, the terms and conditions of this agreement shall apply to any order placed by the customer. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and those passing between the parties these terms shall prevail. No variation of the terms and conditions shall be allowed unless expressly accepted in writing.
In line with industry standards, please allow 5% for breakages. All goods should be inspected upon arrival and any further damages
must be recorded on the paperwork signed at the time of delivery. Shortages or incorrect deliveries must be notified to the
company immediately. No responsibility can be taken for damages not acknowledged on the paperwork.
Indigenous offers a nationwide delivery service for which a charge is made. Unless special arrangements have been made, depending
on the size of the order, deliveries will generally be palletised and undertaken using a 17.5 ton lorry, which is a similar
size to a dustbin lorry. (Length: 10m, Width: 2.4m, Height: 4m) It is important to ensure that there are no access problems
for this size lorry. Any pallets will then be lowered to the ground using a tail lift and pallet truck. It is important that
the ground is level and solid (e.g. concrete or tarmac but not grass or gravel) to ensure that the pallet can be pulled off
the tail lift. The pallet will then be left at the nearest convenient location at the discretion of the driver, which may be
the kerbside. Goods will not be carried into any premises. Therefore, if left outside, all products must be protected from
the weather and fixings (adhesives, grouts etc.) must be taken inside and stored in a damp free environment.
Whilst Indigenous is happy to offer general advice regarding the installation of our products, we are unable to accept any responsibility
for problems arising from incorrect fixing of goods, shortages or products that are surplus to requirement.
A deposit at the point of order will secure the order for a period of up to 12 weeks. If delivery is not taken within this timescale,
the remaining balance must then be paid and there will be a weekly storage fee of £5 per pallet per week. Please note that
goods will not be despatched until we are in receipt of cleared funds. Where an account is held with Indigenous, full payment
of the goods must be made within thirty days of the date of invoice, otherwise interest may be charged. If, in the case of
non payment the account has to be referred to a third party or requires legal action, additional charges will be added to the
account. All goods remain the property of Indigenous until paid for in full.
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT and delivery. Prices are subject to change; Indigenous reserves the right to make any modifications
or changes with prior notice.
Due to the handmade nature of many of our products, imperfections are a natural characteristic that is thought to enhance the overall
appearance of the goods. Products may also vary from batch to batch in colour and size. Once installed, Indigenous is unable
to take any responsibility whatsoever for any concerns, imperfections or colour variation in any goods.
Please measure carefully when ordering products. Unless agreed otherwise, Indigenous is unable to accept returns that may be surplus
