New Provence Chinaware that's made for sharing
Indigenous has introduced two new platter designs to its Provence Chinaware range. Made for serving and sharing, the new oval and rectangular platters
are offered in six stunning colourways, to match the collection’s rustic bowls, cups, jugs and plates.
Handmade from locally sourced clay in the South of France, the collection has a distinct ‘earthy’ Mediterranean look. Each piece of pottery is made in
a mould or turned on a potter’s wheel; it is then lightly rubbed before firing, to bring out the clay’s natural tone. A hand-painted glaze, coloured
with natural oxides, is then applied, with exposed clay edges giving a wholesome feel.
The new rectangular platter measures 340 x 150 mm, and the oval design is 360 x 250 mm. Colours include dark green, cherry red, navy blue, orange, yellow
and turquoise. All chinaware pieces are dishwasher and microwave proof.
