Home Uncategorised Four new wood-effects join Porcelain Collection

Indigenous has introduced a new collection of authentic wood-effect porcelain tiles.  Rich with grain and rustic knots, the tiles are ideal for creating a natural timber-look in kitchens, bathrooms and busy spaces through the home. The tiles are offered in four shades which can be laid in one colour, contemporary-style, or mixed up to create the look of a traditional wood floor.

The new wood-effects shades include Linnen – a pale grey and parchment mix; Nature – a sandy, smoky toned tile; Rook – the darkest tile in a mix of grey shades and Warm – a fawn and grey toned wood-effect.  Each tile measures 265 x 1800 x 10mm and laid end-to-end, to create the look of a classic wood plank floor, or in a herringbone pattern.

“Our porcelain effects are ideal for creating an authentic wood look in areas like bathrooms and kitchens.  As well as being incredibly durable, porcelain tiles are water and stain resistant and very easy to keep spotlessly clean.  As well as being suitable for floors, they can also be installed on walls and continued outside for a seamless look from home to garden,” explained Indigenous’ Clare Thomas.

Other new floors to join the range for autumn/winter include Cloister Grey – an oak herringbone wood floor, Umbria – a brick shaped reclaimed-look terracotta tile and Tuscan – a decorative-effect porcelain.
