Our new handmade Bone Inlay Washstand brings artisan design and glamour to the bathroom. Combining classic styling and intricate petal and star patterning, the statement washstand provides a stunning surface for any style of freestanding basin – from traditional copper or tin, to sleek stone resin.
The intricate art of bone inlay is a skill passed down through generations. It’s been used for centuries to create ornate statement furniture, setting bone or shell into a resin and fixing to a timber frame. Our own design is handmade from sustainability sourced bone, ebony-toned resin and local mango wood. The counter top sits above washstand’s slim, bow legs. The design has a top surface measurement of 900mm x 500mm and stands 750mm tall.
Other Indigenous washstands – in double and single formats – include the English Oak, Reclaimed Teak, Teak Root and Tree Trunk Pedestal designs, along with floating vanities in Petrified Wood, Stone (Coliseum, Forum, Ink, Metro and Olympus) and Teak Root.
