A new multi-coloured patchwork has joined our range of encaustic patterned tiles. The vibrant design combines traditional curlicues and modern geometrics, in muted grey, black, blue, cream and red tones.
The patchwork joins 28 other patterned and plain encaustics, which are all suitable for walls and floors.
All of the encaustics, including the new design, are made by hand using traditional frames and moulds.
Above a sand and cement backing, a mix of natural marble powder, cement and coloured pigments creates the surface pattern. Each individual tile measures 200x200mm; the patchwork is formed of multiple designs which are laid individually. A sealant prefinish creates an easy care surface.
Our Encaustic Patterned Tile Designs
“Our new patchwork includes some of the most popular encaustic designs, creating a look that combines Victorian and Moroccan style with a hint of old school retro. It injects real interest and, in today’s more minimalist scene, a welcome splash of colour and pattern,” explained Indigenous’ Founder, Joss Thomas.
Other new tiles to join our range for autumn/winter will include Umbria limestone and a new collection of stones from Morocco.
